A familiar voice
The vision is a conversation that feels familiar — your rhythm, your humor, your language. We’re working toward the option to hear Schiza in your own voice, with your permission.
YOUR PERSONAL AI SECOND SELF
Some thoughts need to be spoken.
Some need a voice that speaks back.
Talk through an idea, find the words for a difficult conversation, or make sense of your day. Schiza is a personal AI companion being built to think with you and remember what matters.

01 / THE IDEA
When you’re working through an idea, replaying a day, or looking for the right words, you don’t always need advice. Sometimes you need space to talk.
Schiza starts with that feeling. A familiar conversational presence, shaped around your way of speaking, with enough independence to offer a different view.
The vision is a conversation that feels familiar — your rhythm, your humor, your language. We’re working toward the option to hear Schiza in your own voice, with your permission.
The prototype is testing memory across conversations. We’re building toward a clearer understanding of your ideas and projects, grounded in what you actually said.
Understanding you doesn’t mean agreeing with everything. A useful second perspective can ask, question, and help you see another angle.
02 / GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Schiza is being built to get to know what matters to you, what you enjoy, and how you like to think things through. Everyday conversations and thoughtful questions help that understanding grow.
It can explain why it asks. You can skip a question, postpone a topic, or set a boundary. Your current thought comes first.
The introduction we’re building begins with a question on screen. You answer aloud. Getting to know you starts with that first answer and continues through ordinary conversation.
A choice you made. A conversation that stayed with you. Schiza asks about real experiences and makes room for your answer. You set the pace.
If Schiza gets something wrong, you should be able to say so. We’re building an understanding you can review and correct as your thoughts and circumstances change.
This is the experience we’re building. The complete introduction is still being developed and tested.
03 / THINK OUT LOUD
An unfinished thought. A small absurdity.
A decision you keep circling.
There’s room for all of it.
AN IMAGINED CONVERSATION
I keep coming back to this idea. I can’t tell if it’s good or if I just like thinking about it.
What’s the smallest version you could try? Something that gives you an answer, instead of another week of wondering.
Illustrative dialogue, not a live product demo.
04 / MEMORY YOU CAN QUESTION
“I might open a café” is an idea, not a decision. One difficult day is only part of your story.
Schiza’s memory is being built around those distinctions, with a connection to the conversation a memory came from.
In the prototype, you can see a saved memory alongside the words it came from. Your conversation history and the details Schiza remembers are shown separately.
You can review, correct, exclude, or forget saved memories in the prototype. If an idea has changed or a detail no longer fits, you can update the record.
You can pause factual memory and manage research preferences. Turning memory off does not itself delete your history. Read how storage and deletion work in our Privacy Policy.
05 / BUILT AROUND YOU
The closer technology gets to us,
the more its boundaries matter.
These principles guide what we’re building.
Creating or using a personal voice should always begin with clear, explicit consent.
Memory should belong to you. Sharing your style should never mean sharing your whole life.
Schiza can challenge you. Your decisions, relationships, and identity remain your own.
A conversation can be useful, funny, quiet, or unfinished. It doesn’t need to become a self-improvement project.
06 / THE CURIOSITY BEHIND SCHIZA
What helps an AI understand someone over time? That question is behind BIG-N, our research direction for learning about personality through conversation.
We want to test what leads to a more useful understanding of you. The research is still ahead of us, and taking part in a future group study would be a separate choice.
Curious about the research?A WORK IN PROGRESS
An early native iOS prototype is in private testing. Voice conversations, account history, and memory are being tested and refined. Personal voice and the complete getting-to-know-you experience are still under development.
No public release yet. No launch date announced.
There is no public download or open signup. You can contact the developer with questions about the project or private testing; contacting us does not guarantee an invitation.
That is part of the vision. Personal voice is experimental, and reliable availability has not yet been confirmed across the full iPhone experience. Standard speech is used while a personal voice is unavailable.
BIG-N is our research direction for understanding personality through conversation. The aim is to test how well Schiza can understand a person over time. It is still a research plan. Explore the methods and planned studies on our Research page.
Thinking aloud, exploring an idea, finding the words, or talking through your day. Schiza is a personal AI companion in development. It is not a therapist, a diagnostic service, or a substitute for professional care.
No. Personal conversations and participation in a group research study are separate choices. Any future study would explain what it involves and ask for your agreement.
The app uses cloud processing and account storage. Conversation history, extracted memories, and voice samples have different purposes and controls. The website itself does not record audio or send the illustrative dialogues to an AI service. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
